Standard size: 3.75 × 12 m
Our porta cabins are 3.75 m wide and 12 m long, about 45 m² each. That size moves on a standard low-bed trailer and fits the common site layouts below. Larger offices and camps are built by placing several units side by side.

Power: plan it before the cabins arrive
Air-conditioning is the main load. As a rule of thumb, allow about 12 to 15 kVA for each air-conditioned 12 m cabin before diversity. A camp of ten cabins usually needs a generator in the range of 100 to 150 kVA once you account for units not running at full load together. Kitchens and water heaters add to this, so we size the generator with the full camp layout.
Water and sewage
Toilet blocks, accommodation washrooms and kitchens all need a water tank and a sewage tank unless the site has mains connections. Size the water tank for at least two days of use so a late tanker does not stop the site, and agree a fixed emptying schedule for the sewage tank. We arrange both with the cabins so every unit is connected at handover.
Site preparation and delivery
- Level, compacted ground or concrete blocks under each unit
- Access for a low-bed trailer and a crane or heavy forklift at the placement point
- At least 1 m between units for maintenance and fire separation
- A plan showing where the generator, water tank and sewage tank will sit
What affects the monthly rate
- Rental period: longer terms bring the monthly rate down
- Number of units on the same order and delivery trip
- Distance from Al Khobar and site access conditions
- Fit-out level: furnished, extra AC, kitchenette, VIP finishes
- Services included: generator, water, sewage, cleaning and maintenance
